You can use POP (Post Office Protocol) to set up your email account on most email clients. POP has it's limitations, and has can have issues trying to access.
Can someone at Microsoft please help. Every other email system in the world can connect it seams except for the online Outlook Mail (outlook.live.com).
We recently just switched to Godaddy for our provider and when I try to add a connected POP account in the new version of Outlook Mail (outlook.live.com) I get an error message of 'The pop server doesn't support features needed to download email'.
THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM WITH GODADDYS SERVERS. I'm a seasoned user and a computer programmer so please don't give me some B.S. excuse and canned link. This is 100% a problem with the Outlook Mail (outlook.live.com) code base once again.
Now I know this because my sales guy can connect to it using Goldmine version 6.50.40321 from 2004 can connect to the account and download messages. So can the Windows 10 Mail App. So can GMail I'll bet. But not the online version of Outlook.
So once again the NEW Outlook Mail (outlook.live.com) sucks as always and can't even handle the basic tasks.
Please, please help. Outlook was by far the best system across all different platforms before you forced the new version on us. I honestly have over 40+ bugs I have written down on top of this and it has taken your level 3 support 6 weeks to fix one and the other simple one they have been working on for 6 weeks again. It's ridiculous.
